Dr. Bursheh completed her Diabetes and Endocrinology fellowship at the Albert Einstein School of Medicine in New York, with hands on training in bench and clinical research in diabetes and obesity. She completed her internal medicine residency training at Mount Sinai School of Medicine, where she also served as chief resident. Besides being a member of prestigious societies like the Endocrine Society and the Obesity Medicine Association; she has multiple publications in reputable medical journals. She is part of the teaching staff in Atlanticare Regional Medical Center residency program. Dr Bursheh treats every patient with utmost care, compassion, and professionalism.

Dr Bursheh has a vast knowledge and experience in metabolic endocrinology including diabetes mellitus and obesity medicine. She is committed to helping people living with diabetes and obesity thrive and is especially passionate about patient education and lifestyle training to help patients achieve their metabolic goals and prevent cardiovascular disease. Dr Bursheh implements a multidisciplinary approach, tailored to meet each patient’s specific needs, and is dedicated to improving the quality of life for people with obesity and diabetes that extends well beyond the traditional medical setting.

With her vast experience and observation of her patients, Dr Bursheh believes that one approach does not always work. She believes in going back to the roots and building a healthy lifestyle from natural resources around us. She has received multiple certifications in metabolic disease and attended conferences in obesity and culinary medicine. Her goal is combining multiple aspects of medicine including metabolic endocrinology, lifestyle medicine, culinary medicine, and exercise to empower you to take control of your health and live your best and healthiest life.
