Recipe: High Protein Scottish Oatmeal

Makes 4 Portions

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup Red Mill organic Scottish Oatmeal

  • 3 cups of water

  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 tbsp almond butter
  • 1 tsp honey
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup almond milk
  • Unsweetened coconut flakes to taste
  • Grated dark chocolate cube
  • 2 chopped strawberries
  • 1/2 chopped banana

Directions:

  1. Reduce heat to medium then add the oatmeal slowly while continuously stirring.
  2. Once the oatmeal fully cooks (7-10 min), Stir in vanilla extract, cinnamon, honey, almond butter and almond milk.
  3. Serve warm, top with strawberries and banana, coconut flakes and grated dark chocolate.
