Recipe: Anti-inflammatory Golden Hot Chocolate

This Anti-inflammatory Golden Hot Chocolate is a warm, comforting blend of rich cacao and aromatic spices like turmeric, ginger, and cinnamon. Packed with antioxidants and designed to support overall wellness, it’s a soothing, nutrient-dense drink that’s as functional as it is delicious, perfect for a cozy, feel-good moment any time of day.

Ingredients:

  • 1 tsp (or more) Cacao
  • 1/4 tsp ground Turmeric
  • 1/4 tsp ground Ginger
  • 1/4 tsp Cinnamon
  • Drizzle of honey or maple syrup, sweetened to your preference

  • 2% Milk or nut milk/coconut milk (any of your choice) (heat in a sauce pan on the stove; optional: froth milk!)
  • 1/2 tsp Olive oil or Coconut oil (don’t leave out a fat source for the absorbability of the nutrients in turmeric!)
  • Optional: Nutmeg added on top

Directions:

Combine the cacao, spices, honey/maple syrup, and oil and add a little bit of milk and mix until it makes a paste, then add the rest of your heated/frothed milk and enjoy!
Optional: top with nutmeg
